First time had my grandma from oversea's knock on the door at 1am, I opened, and she said "good bye." Sure enough, later on in the day grandpa called saying that grandma had passed during the night.
Another time had one knock on the door and it told me to turn down the music,
banging on door with "To much noise." I was in the basement with a buddy drinking, listening to tunes, and everyone was out for the weekend... So unless someone broke it and just felt like knocking, issues....
So, yes, ghosts, believe in them. And writing the above sent shivers down my back and gave me goose bumps...
Believe in them and not a big fan...
I'm agnostic, if we're throwing in religion or beliefs..

I certainly do believe in ghosts! While I haven't ever seen one, I would swear on my life that our old house was haunted. In particular parts of the house, no matter if it was day or night, i'd get chills, would get sudden, unexplained feelings of intense dread or sadness and I always felt as if I was being watched, or at least if someone else was there. I don't think it was a malevalent spirit, it never tried to hurt me or my family, but a few notable, very eerrie moments happened in that house that ill never forget. Probably the scariest part about the whole thing for me is that I have four cats and a dog, and I'm a night-owl, I like to stay awake at night cos I always feel extremely energetic and productive, but I could always tell when something was amiss because I'd be like sitting there watching tv or reading then get these unexplained feelings, look over to my pets and it was remarkable how fast their behaviour would change. Once, late at night I was painting and I got a really sick feeling in my stomach out of nowhere, then that passed as quick as it had come on, only to be replaced by the feeling of wanting to cry my eyes out. I looked over at my cat who had been asleep on the lounge next to me to see him sitting up, his fur all puffed up and staring into the other room. He stayed like that for a few minutes, growling occassionally, then went back to sleep. Besides that, my labrador follows me everywhere, but there were a few times when he would stop outside the door and refuse to come in (there was one room in particular in our old house that seemed to be the epicentre for paranormal activity) whenever that would happen i'd be outta there in a flash!

Yes I have. On more than one occasion. And not under the influence of anything either! Don't believe anybody that tells you they don't exist.
I wish they brought me presents, but I can only feel their presence. lol
If I had a present for every time I saw a ghost, I'd be a very happy little vegemite!

I believe that ghosts are a projection of the imagination. If you believe in ghosts, then you must believe in life after death. I know one author who believe that ghosts are dead people who will not "pass on" because they are too earthy and love eating, drinking and sex, in other words are not spiritual enought to pass on to their reward. I still don't know whether I would have the guts to spend the night alone in a place reputedly haunted though.

I don't believe in the traditional "ghost", but I do believe in spirits. I believe that many times the spirit has unfinished business on the earth or that sometimes they can't find their way to the afterlife. And I believe that some are just so evil that they refuse to leave the earth. The "stange" things we sometimes encounter are spirits trying to tell us something or in the case of evil spirits, are trying to exact some kind of rrevenge. Just my thoughts.

Yes, there was one in my shop, I can prove it I have it on camera ! At 0340 (in the morning - every day) there was a strong smell of bacon and eggs, and the footsteps of someone that climbed up the stairs, but nobody to be seen on the cameras, The deep freeze door opened itself at that time - that's what I have on camera, the freezer door, the way it is build MUST close by itself if left open, but cannot open itself wide, the hinges are offset to that effect.

I've never gotten a present from a ghost. Maybe one day I will and can let you know how it feels.
But my mother was mean enough that if she had a way to haunt me in ghost form, she would.

logically i dont,, but i would swear my bedroom was haunted intensely when i was younger. i think that illusions can be easily made from nature, of light, wind, air, and coincidences, and i think that anyone who thinks their car rolled down a hill because of a 'ghost' is a little paranoid. however nobody knows, anything, so as that idea and ones similar are a nice topic of light discussion, shouldnt really, in my opinion, be taken too seriously, as it could easily lead to frustration, fear and major stress[with some people]

Yes, I believe. No, I haven't literally seen one....just experienced the smells they produce, witnessed the lights and appliances they turn on, and in one mind-blowing case, the car one made fall out of gear by itself and roll down a hill right into a fence...which occured after an argument between me and my sister regarding our deceased mom. Guess I won that argument! (not kidding--actually happenned)
