Reading 'Gangs of Liverpool', the author mentions 'Citizen' anomanously writing into a Liverpool newspaper. Was it the Liveerpool; Chronicle?

Citizen meaning a person, writing to a liverpool newspaper, but as for was it the L.chronicle, need more info on what story it was, many people must have wrote to liverpool newspapers

There are two newspapers printed in Liverpool. In the morning its the Liverpool Daily Post and in the evening its the Liverpool Echo. These papers have been going years.

Yes Des C.is spot on with the local papers,however each district has a local freebee paper as well.
