Noam & Boomer, you obviously have a weak foundation in logic.
The President does not own the country. The US is OUR country regardless of who is President. Mr. Bush is already willingly going against the wishes of 70% of the country.
Only a fascist would think that the President & Country are one and the same. No wonder you still support Bush. Birds of a feather flock together, I suppose.

I didn't vote for Bush and don't support his policies on war and a couple of other items. However I do have to give him a thumbs up on a few of his policies. He is MY president whether I like it or not.I don't think any president can please the whole country.Bush has just done more than the average to outrage citizens.

To be frank, President Bush is their President whether they like it, or not. They can run their mouths but that's just the way it is. Their actions may be contrary to our laws because our laws state that every 4 years we get together and elected a leader for ALL OF US, and if they don't like the winning candidate, they can try harder next time around, but they cannot say that President Bush is not their President because he most certainly is. Anything else would be un-American.

It's not that he isn't the president of the US, he's just doing an extremely piss poor job of it. Me and 70% of the rest of this country think that.

If taken literally. The saying "Bush is not my president" stems from the fact that he doesn't represent anyone except the richest of the rich. The top 2% as it were. Hopefully this clears that up.

It's just he's gotten the worst approval rating of any president of all time. So maybe that's got something to do with them not viewing Bush as a President. Or at least a decent one.

Please explain. You mean that to disagree with authority makes you Un-American? That is odd, since America was founded by people who disagreed with the authority of the King of England. You are obviously smarter than I, so please reconcile the cognitive dissonance I am currently experiencing.
