I am not Iranian.
It is highly unlikely that you will get a response from an Iranian LIVING IN IRAN. Those living abroad are typically the ones that do not agree with the theocratic Muslim government of Iran.
Those living in Iran may be at risk to disagree with the government. The secret police VEVAK is just as ruthless as the secret police SAVAK under the old regieme.

I'm not Iranian, I'm American, and if they were indeed tresspassing on Iranian waters then it is completely justified, and in fact I encourage them to be tried by Iranian law. No Americans should have the nerve to complain about another country's government acting "out of line" after abu gharib, gitmo, and the war in Iraq. There is a huge double standard that Western nations hold against the rest of the world and that is just one of many reasons those countries aren't liked.

<-- Iranian here.
i think both capturing and releasing the sailors were right.
come on it's a very critical situation. i mean look at you... all of you think that we are terrorism. you won't be sad if we all die by an atomic bomb or something.
we can't let a bunch of WAR LOVERS wander around our country ! even the sailors themselves claimed that what they did was wrong and England promised not to do it again.
so they freed.
and by "war lovers" i mean the governments not the people.

The imperialist british wardog pigs were trespassing on sacred Islamic territory, and must be punished. After sufficient humiliation, such as being forced to sing all the songs of the Spice Girls, and denouncing Benny Hill as a so- not funny, they will be released.

Dashed bad show old bean if you ask one.
Wouldn't have got away with it in my day.
We'd have sent a jolly old gunboat into their harbour and blasted them to kingdom come......but then, those were the good old days what?
