SoCal,
I walk six miles every other day, I have done this now for about five years it's pretty much all the "excersize" I do. I still wash our cars, cut the grass and do chores around the house on a regular basis. It's important to stay busy, I'm sixty one years old and I retired a few years ago, so staying busy is very important to me and walking is about the only excersize I can continue to do with pleasure. I just got myself an ipod for my walks and it is so awesome.

today i will be walking all over town, cleaning the sides of a house, doing WICKED stunts on the trampoline and having a BBQ

but usually i go outside and play on the street, or run after bikes[my friends are on them] around the neighborhood. its really fun, and increases my ability and strength.

exercise boosts a chemical in your system to scientifically make you happier, and daily exercise, as you may see, can really improve one's general mood.

Chase my kids around the backyard, heft 50 lb. bags of sand from trunk to the yard to fill the sandbox, and housework. Might even take the kids for a stroll after lunch if I'm not to whooped by then.

Mow the lawn for the first time this year...and probably some other yard work. Maybe take the dogs for a walk.

Run a mile by the canal near my house, running from the crocs is all the adrenaline I need to make me complete that mile... works everytime!
