No Einstein did not say that, Philip K. Dick did. BTW read the short story by the same name, it is great and so is the movie.

Einstein showed how to travel FORWARD in time by going at speed close to the speed of light. He also set the limit AT the speed of light and so did not speculate about what faster than light speed would mean (you would get imaginary mass and imaginary time..., which doesn't mean negative time!!)

time machine is just an incorect expression...there is no past...except the books of history..etc..and our memory..

can you go by time machine to Shakespeare and talk to him?No..that world doesn't exist..those houses don't exist...those clothes ...are dust now..Shakespeare is no longer on the Earth..

you canot go in future..because ..the people of the future are not born yet...so there is no future...
God know the future but God is God..above us and any human power..

But if you think well and do good and love the others..you will have a good future..when you will enter that future..

You can't travel faster than the speed of light and you can't arbitrarily travel around in time.
