I bought a Chinese Buddah plant also know as Alocasia cucullata. I have planted it in water and small stones as advised by the Chinese lady that sold me it. How should i look after it long term?

It's a member of the Elephant Ear family and will grow happily in water for some time. Give it weak fertilizer biweekly (1/4 teaspoon/gallon of water is the recipe MiracleGro gives for a weak solution). You may want to pot it at some point. Pretty plant. Good luck.

once planted, do not over-water! mine had a ticket with it when i bought it about 6 months ago... but i was overzealous with the water i think. it has only one leaf to go now :o(
