I got arrested at 16 for unlawful use of a computer system. I was fingerprinted but didn't receive any penalty. Just some counseling and 24 hours of community service. Will this appear on my record today?

You were a juvenile and the authorities are not allowed to divulge this information to anyone not even other law enforcement agencies. The only way this would not be true is if you were tried as an adult.

it might show but even if it does your employer cant just not give you a job on those grounds along. Most jobs are required to turn felons away but thats about as bad as it gets... so you should be absolutely fine! :)

I would reccommend that you get your record expunged for further on down the road just incase it does come up again and causes a problem for you. Good luck!!

If the crime was a misdemeanor or better, you should be honest about it -- and get your damned record expunged!

If your case was decided by a magistrate or judge it is likely that you do have a record of it.

You're record under 18 years of age should not be a factor, unless you were charged as an adult.

It shouldn't...but who knows. Maybe you should just declare it.
