Every morning I wake up and my mattress has moved about six inches off the foot of the bed, so there's a gap at the head of the bed up by the wall that my pillows fall into. I was wondering if anybody has any ideas on what I can do to prevent this from happening. I can't afford a foot board for the bed, so that's not a solution.

<>Check your local department store for an "anti-slip" mat. It's a sticky-feeling material, same thing as used under rugs on wooden floors or tablecloths on wooden tables.

Go to a store that sells that rubber-like webbing that some people use on shelves. It comes on a roll usually near contact paper. Put two lengths of this between your box springs and mattress. That should solve the problem of it shifting!

Good luck, and you're welcome!

Try some Velcro or stitching them together with some fishing line
