I was wondering if anyone knows what can cause this. First off this car is a 2007 Ford Focus Sedan with only 1300 miles on it, I bought it brand new and have taken very good care of it and I don't drive crazy. The other day I went to start my car and all that happend is I heard "click click click". So we jump started it and it worked fine so we drove around for almost an hour to let it charge. When we got home and turned the car off it would not start again. We jumped it a second time and again it started fine and we drove around again, Turned it off and it wouldn't restart, just heard clicking again.
The night before we had been driving in pretty heavy rain, could that have played a part?

My first`s instinct would be to take the car back to where you got it from and tell them to get it sorted out as the car is brand new .
Some good answer`s on here but like someone else said it`s proberbly a loose conection somewhere . But don`t try fix it yourself as this will void the warranty on the car !

Either the battery is dead, or there's a bad connection between the battery posts and the battery terminals. Take your car to Autozone or Kragen's. They should be able to load-test the battery there and tell you. I believe this service is free. Check the battery terminals for corrosion. Unlikely at 1,300 miles... Also check the point where the battery ground connects to the vehicle, and to the engine block. All connections should be clean and tight. Hope this helps.

Either you left some sort of a light on (usually interior) or the battery is busted.

Take it back to the dealer. It would still be under factory warranty, and the battery is usually warrantied for 3 years at the minimum.

Sounds like bad battery connections. They may just need
tightening, or remove and clean. If the connection is bad,
the battery won't charge.

The reason it runs after a jump is it will run on just the
alternator. But it hasnt charged because of the bad
connection so you need another jump.
