I have a lunch to go to for a school function, and i am thinking of wearing my white pant suit. I have dark brown heels and a nice new hair comb to go with the look! problem is.. what color should my shirt be? it need not even be a shirt. a cami/tube top under the jacket works well too! any suggestions?

Just because you wear brown heals doesn't mean you have to narrow your choices to brown or beige....that is too much matching and is not a good fashion choice.
As far as accessories go, the comb sounds good and like it should be enough....simple is in. Don't wear a black under shirt, but I think you already know that.
What is your skin tone? If you are dark, a bright color would really compliment you and look well. If I could pick one I would say find a coral or sammon (can't spell) color! Will go great under the white, really pop and compliment the shoes and comb. Either that or a cute yellow or maybe even a teal blue.
If you are pale like me, those brights probably wouldn't look as complimentary. I might go with a deep red or any shade of purple.
Have fun at the function and good luck! It seems that you have the big, expensive items already (shoes and suit) so just have fun with finding the top. No biggie. I am sure you will look cute!
p.s. and since it is a school function, you might want to pick a shirt that is not too riske'..that way if you get hot or something you can take off your jacket and feel comfortable, esp. if this is an all day thing...but if it is only a couple of hours it shouldn't matter.

Since you've already decided on wearing brown heels then you have narrowed your options to browns or beiges. I would suggest changing the heels and wearing a bright colored shirt with the suit. Since it is spring, and bright colors look amazing with a white suit.

Nearly anything goes with white, but you said you will wear brown shoes, so you must find colors that harmonize with them. Yellow, tan, biege, cream, etc. go well with brown. Green does too, if you can wear it. I cannot with my ruddy skin and hair, but my brother can. Some orange tones are OK with brown, but use care. I would not wear red, blue or violet.

Wear some dark color inside ur white suit....or something nice n bright...like yello or red or sky blue wid hwite looks amazing....n change ur shoes accordingly as well..!
