And "preggers, preggy", etc. Does anyone else feel the same?

I feel exactly the same way, I was actually just about to post the same question but then I saw yours! I think it is rude, and honestly, gross sounding (along with "preggers", preggy", etc). It sounds like a word that sick freaks who get off to pregnant women use... (sorry if that was offensive). I hated it when people called me those words, I just think it's very rude.

I feel the exact same way. I cant stand it when people say preggers. I am just like "I am PREGNANT not PREGGERS dang it !!!" Then again I hate the "Their pregnant" I just sit there and say "NO, WE are having a baby but "I" am the one who is pregnant" when he carries it for nine or ten months or passes a kidney stone the size of and orange the he can be called pregnant to lol

I use preggers a lot, though preggo bugs me a bit because it makes me think of Prego spaghetti sauce. ;)

Prego, if I recall right, means "you're welcome" in Italian... You say thank you as, "Grazi," and the other person replies, "Prego."
It's also a spaghetti sauce. I haven't heard it used to mean pregnant... but I have heard preggers. Usually, it's the person who's pregnant that is using the term.

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh me too!! So dang annoying! My sister in law is pregnant and that is all she says..ohhh I want to shake her everytime she says it. Most ladies I know say it..I dont know why its soo dumb..its like saying hubby instead of husband....grrrrrrrrrrr
