I'm only 20 years old and my last period was in December. I've taken two pregnancy tests and they were both negative. I've had some spotting but it only lasts a couple minutes and then stops. What's wrong with me?

it could be hormone imbalance, most likely.sometimes during these cases doctors advised to do scans to check how your uterus and ovaries are.its not uncommon that these scans show functional cysts in ovaries which disappears with certain drugs prescribed by the doctor.but sometimes these hormonal problems leads to some serious complications like infertility if not treated properly.so i would suggest to see a gynaecologist as soon as possible.

Maybe you have a low HB count so this means you dont have enough haemoglobin and thats why your body is saving the little that you have. You need to be tested for anaemia which is easily cured by taking iron supplements. Anyway just go to your doctor to be sure. Good luck!

In addition to the things mentioned by the previous poster, a hormone imbalance can cause periods to be irregular. I would recommend seeing your dr to find out if this could be what's going on with you now.

If you are undergoing stress, or have lost weight that may be why. Go see your gyno or doctor if you are worried.
