Frogs live in marshy areas. Hurricanes occured in those place and eventually sucked up the frogs. The next day when the hurricane stopped, the frogs came pouring down in the form of rain. It can't be watersprout as if it were a watersprout, it would have occured in an ocean & not in a marshy land. Moreover it would have stuck to the ocean & not came up to the land.

It really happened, I think a hurricane or high winds or something, picked up a bunch of frogs and hurled them through the air. The people that were around when the frogs came crashing down, thought it was raining frogs.

It's rained lots of things before around the world. I think it's rained dead fish before a huracain lifted them up from the ocean and when it stopped they fell.

Hurricaines and water spouts (tornadoes) suck them up and then of course, they fall down eventually.
