Oh really, my thought is that most American's are materialistic and greedy. We are a capitalist society. Let's face it no matter your race, culture or religion most parents would rather work 80 hrs a week to earn money for a lifestyle they can't really afford than actually spend time w/ their children. Some people are forced into that lifestyle becasue they are just trying to keep their head above the water and support a family. That's how American society is constructed. And freedom, eh. Well anyone would value freedom, but how can you actually value something that hasn't been taken away from you. Most Americans today were born into a "free" society.

It doesn't seem as if they value their children much. Look at how they are being raised to be materialistic, rude uneducated and selfish. The only freedom that most Americans seem to care about is their own. Ignorance of other cultures around the world and the idea that the American way is the only way prevail so rampantly, that the truth of how the USA is viewed around the world is something most Americans aren't even aware of. I'm sure I'll get a lot of thumbs down for this, but who cares. The truth is the light and the light must shine!

I disagree. Americans hate the ideals of "freedom and choice" with a passion, both left and right. One filthy pig on Yahoo Answers called me a hater because I don't want to be forced to pay a UN tax. That's the type of SCUM that most Americans are today. Most adult American males today should be dowsed with gasoline and burned!

many americans are very materialistic, so they value things like huge cars and the latest fashion, including my self, no one's perfect. I just think everyone, including myself, should think about those who aren't as well off as us, rather than caring for ourselves and our family alone. I also value family and friends and the fact that i am an educated person.

White Americans, African Americans, Muslim Americans, Irish Americans, Mexican Americans, Russian Americans, Asian Americans, the list continues...??? I'm sure if you put them all into their own groups they would all tell you something different.

The separation of Church and State. I don't think that it would be good if religious leaders were part of government, like in Iran where they are the government.
