i have a 98 honda civic, i was messing with these projector lights that came with the vehicle, then the parking lamps went out but the headlights still work. which is the fuse to the parking lamps, they dont say directly "parking lamps" it must be called something else? and could it be something else than the fuse just incase that doesnt work? the bulbs still work with the emergency lights but when the parking lamp switch is turned on, they dont work??

the fuse is fuse #32 and is for the licence lights/tail lamps. the fuse is a 7.5 amp fuse and depending on the orientation of the fuse box is either the next to lowest fuse on the right side column if the box is vertical (top to bottom 3 rows) or the second fuse in from the left on the bottom row if the fuse panel is horizontal. Look for a series of 4 fuses with 7.5 on them followed by an open space where there is no fuse at the start or end of the top or bottom row or left or right column. The fuse is the second from the end in that string.

If the tail lamps don't work chances are its just the fuse. if the tail lamps work but the parking lights don't you may have burnt out the combination switch when playing around with the projector lights; the combination switch controls the exterior lights and is the switch on the steering column that you use to turn the lights on and off.

it could still be the bulbs if the tail lights work because the bulbs have two filaments; one for the parking lights and one for the hazzard flasher/turn signals so that the lights still remain on when the directional or flashers flash.

Hope that helps.

Your fuse box should have them labeled, however some don't...

Check fuse named "Tail", or "Turn" or "Stop". heck just check them all and replace as needed.

Best wishes, happy hunting!
