I'd think because most Asian's don't really play football much. I mean Asians are a generally small race. Not to be offensive. It's just how it is. And the ones that are probly NFL size play another sport or don't play sports at all. I've kind of wondered that myself. Maybe it's just a cultural thing and asian's don't see football as appealing.

Well, I've known many Asians that are big enough to play in the NFL and also I've known a lot of Asians that are into football. Though the closest to an Asian was Dean Cain. I really don't like saying this, but it has to do with discrimination. Asians are stereotyped as nerdy video game freaks, not the tough sporty type. I guess Norm Chow is one example of an Asian being discriminated in the NFL?

Well, the average body size of an Asian is generally smaller than that of Caucasians, African Americans(or Africans other than Americans in the League), and Hispanics. Also, Football hardly ever affects the Asian Community(even though I saw tons of them as trainers and assitants on the Superbowl Seahawks). Plus for Asian Nationals(people from the Asia) the football scene isn't breed into them as it is with Americans

We'll start with the easiest reason first: the Asian population in the US isn't as large as the White, Black, and Mexican populations, and most people in Asia don't play American football. Furthermore, even the Asians in the US tend to prefer some of the sports popular in their countries of origin, much like the Mexican-American tendency to gravitate to Soccer.
The next reason is that around one third of NFL players are linemen, and there just aren't a lot of athletic 300lb Asian men. There are Sumo wrestlers, but big-time sumo wrestlers make a lot more money and gain a lot more fame than NFL linemen.
A third reason is prejudice - the common belief that Asians are smaller and slighter than Whites, Blacks, and even Mexicans. Fourth is the fact that the statistics actually bear this out as not being without some truth to it. Asians really are smaller and slighter than Caucasoids and Negroids.
However, there are several part-Asian players in the NFL: Hines Ward, Will Demps, Brian Chillar, for example. Eugene Chung, who played from 1992 to 1997 was an offensive linemen and was of 100% pure Asian descent.

Oh give me a break. Prejudice has nothing to do with it. If there is an Asian who is good enough to make the NFL, he'll make it. Especially if he IS big enough.

I myself am 100% Asian, just typically, Asians body type isn't suited to play American football, they are generally not very tall and not really big. Unlike blacks and whites, its just genetics.
