I've had this problem once before - pain behind my navel for a week or so and then it bleeds. The last time my doctor cauterized it and it was ok after a while. This was two years ago - and it's happening again. He didn't explain what had caused it before - I can't get to the docs for 2 days - any thoughts?

Until you can get to see your doctor just keep it clean and put antibiotic save on the area. Try not to put your fingers in the are, use a q-tip to put the save in the area.
I'm sorry I really don't know what would cause such a thing to happen.

i think you need to see a different doctor. sounds like he/she doesn't communicate very well. it should have been explained toyou... did you ask???

you should stop jabbing a screwdriver in it. that's really no way to clean it.
