You can run instances....they provide good exp considering how many npc's are in there...plus the quests inside there give a lot of exp also..

I've tried just hunting higher level critters, but I didnt' get nearly as much exp as running quests. I try to do quests that are orange and even red. Just get someone to help you and the red ones give tons of exp. I was running thru the "instance" in Gnome-land and seeing that we had 5 or so people in our group, I didn't get nearly as much exp. And for some reason, I didn't get ANY of the 'uncommon' items when we rolled for them. So, I make more money and more exp questing. Hope this helps! Also, if you want to make a lil extra gold, check out the auction houses- you can sell some things there for a lot more silver/gold than you would if you just sell it to a npc. =)

check out allakhazam.com- they have lots of helpful info on quests

There are only two ways to gain xp in WoW: go on quests, and kill monsters.

You get more xp per kill/quest if what you are doing is at a higher level than you are, hence doing more davanced quests and killing more advanced monsters can boost your power.

Instances tend to have lots of high lelve monster, lots of high level quests, and better than average drop rates and unique equipement. So they are ideal places to quest with a group. Please note that if you party with someone who is at a much higher level than you, you get less experience, so it is best to group with people near your own level.

Oh, if you have Burning Crusade, and are in the Outlands, then completing quests is almost the ONLY way to gain xp. Monster xp in the Outlands is pitiful compared to the quest rewards in the same area.

Just keep going. There's a reason why leveling is called "grinding." It's not meant to go fast.
