Which materials are called acids?The materials which release H+ in solutions.for example CH3COOH (acethic acid) is a weak acid.only three moleculs release H+ out of 1000 meanwhile 98% of sulphuric acid realese H+ so it is a very strong acid.Another definition for acids is :
Acids are the substances which provides proton in chemical reactions and base provide electrons.
