Completely depends on the condition of the coin....there are several levels of condition or "wear and tear". Without knowing that, it's impossible to answer this.

Shame it's not a US 1943 penny... that could be worth $60,000 or more. :)

A 1943 Australian penny isn't worth much at all I'm afraid. Come uncirculated 1943 pennies fetch about $100, but circulated pennies are only worth a couple of dollars at most.

There are other pennies selling for anyhwere from 80 cents to $10 US. So it's worth something, but probably less than it would cost you to send it to someone who bought it.
