Two weeks ago in my African-History class, our professor asked, "Do you think that African-Americans are genetically inferior to whites?" "No, we are genetically superior because of the melanin in our school," some misinformed female replied. A lot of people looked shocked when she said this. I wanted to raise my hand and say, "That is psuedo scientific nonsense; the notion of black supremacy is just as bad as he notion of white supremacy," but being the introverted person that I am, I didn't. I am an African-American male who doesn't agree with this nonsense, and from the look on the faces of African-American students and white students alike in the class, I don't think most of them believed it either.

"In the past, yes, I have made sweeping indictments of all white people. I will never be guilty of that again -- as I know now that some white people are truly sincere, that some truly are capable of being brotherly toward a black man. The true Islam has shown me that a blanket indictment of all white people is as wrong as when whites make blanket indictments against blacks."-Brother Malcolm

Melanin is a fatty coating on nerve cells in the brain. They just help in sending information faster. When melanin decreases, which happens as we get older, our ability to think quickly or to act, slows down.

There isn't any difference between races, the difference is that children have more melanin than do adults.

What your classmate said just doesn't make any sense now when you think about it.

Except that those of Islam have stated that they have a right to kill all of my people that don't convert.

That is absolute stupidity.
