What did Johnny 'leave' when he died? Did he bequeath any money or worldly possessions, or did he leave the friends in shock or sorrow ? This perhaps needs to be specified, if that is what you have in mind.
Or, if you simply wanted to say that he left behind his friends, then you need to add 'behind' after 'left'.
If 'Greasers' is the name of a group, you could perhaps consider 'Greasers'.
