nv4_disp sounds like it's pointing to an issue with the video card driver.

nv is probably nVidia, try either going to http://support.dell.com and download the latest available video driver for your video card, or go to http://www.nvidia.com driver download section and download their driver for your card.

You can easily identify what model card you have by visiting Dell's site, inputting (or letting their website discover) your computer's service tag, and then going to the download section.

Try checking the device driver. You can check this in Safe Mode if necessary:

To open Device Manager, click Start,
point to Settings,
and then click Control Panel.
Double-click System.
On the Hardware tab,
click Device Manager.
Right-cl the item to be checked and select Properties.

You should be told whether or not the item is working properly. You can also update the driver from here.

it is the nvidia driver
you will have to goto nvidia and download the lastest driver for your card
then uninstall your old driver( in safe mode and temp. pick a standard vga svga driver (you need a driver so you can follow the steps to install the new one)
then install the new driver( make sure the old one is completely gone before you install the new one)
you should buy a power supply tester to so if that is what caused the problem or buy a UPS[ BECAUSE IT MOST LIKELY WAS A POWER FLUCTUATION THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE]

Its a problem with your NVIDIA display adapter drivers. You may be able to fix it by upgrading the drivers from NVIDIA's website, or reformatting may possibly help (but I would definitely try upgrading drivers first)... If that doesn't fix the problem you may want to look into buying a new video card. If it comes to that you can check out http://www.newegg.com for good prices on video cards.

Your video card driver is faulty. Try reinstalling it.
Infinite ioop means that a program is wrongly return & isn't programmed to stop. It means it must be tampered
