Just asking. My friend has her period about every 7 weeks and she has had it for about 1 year? What should she do?

She oughta thanks her lucky stars! It is fine to have your period every 7 weeks. Every woman is different and has different lengths of time between their period. Especially when you are younger, your period is more erratic. My aunt has two weeks off her period, and then one week on. That is unlucky.

Depends very much on how old is she. If she is very young (just having her period for 1 year) it could be normal. But I belive it's better to see a doctor for this.

Since she's only had her period for a year it sounds like her body is trying to adjust to the hormonal changes going on inside of her.

I would recommend that she also discuss her concern with her mom and also her dr.
