If you should happen to move to an area that is not supported by Sprint they would have to let you out of the contract.

put an ad in the paper and get someone to take the contract over for you. When they agree, go to a Sprint store and have the buyer of your contract sign a Transfer of Liability form.

The alternative is to pay the termination fee.

That's why they have termination fees. If you're close to the end of your contract, it might make more sense to just finish out the contract than to cancel early.

I did once, I had moved to an area where sprint had no coverage, they let me out of contract
