Hell no I don't feel sorry for them, I can't stand that little twirp Ivory Latta. She's a dirty player with a big mouth and I'm so glad I won't have to see her anymore (I don't waste my time watching the WNBA). Tennessee is the elite program in women's basketball and they do it the right way......with class and pride. Pat Summitt doesn't get enough credit for what she has done there, hell she has what....945 wins??? Add her 6 national championships and the fact that Tennessee has made the sweet 16 EVERY year the tournament has existed. If that isn't dominance, what is? UNC is a wannabe program that couldn't get the job done 2 years straight when all the marbles were on the line.

Well, not really. I love Tennessee.
Even though Ivory Latta is a great player and so is Camille Little, sorry that they have to leave without a National Title, but so glad UT won. They out played UNC for most of the game and really buckled down and took control in the last few minutes of the game. Bobbit took control of the game and Latta, which I was glad to see, and Candace Parker played great. Even with her 3 fouls in the first half, she concentrated and really focused on what she needed to do. I thought Sydney Spencer also played great, she struggled offensively, but then she came up big and got the UNC players into foul trouble.
I have the utmost respect for their team and there program. They are, no doubt one of the elite teams in women's college basketball, but every year they come up short and never really get it done. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk, so to speak. Everyone pick them to win a national title because simply because they are UNC but every year, it seems their ego gets in the way of the National Titles.

Nope, nope, nope. I was WAY over them a LONG time ago. I hate when you can just tell who the announcers are pulling for, and you can just tell everyone wanted NC to win. I love Tennessee. Candace Parker plays with more heart than anyone I know. That girl deserves a championship...and she's only a sophmore...what? Ivory Latta is an awesome player...but I think she relaxes when her team builds a lead. She can't afford to do that against teams like Tennessee. I don't feel sorry for them though. They did the best they could.

All the answers on here are what I would say balled into one....I hate Ivory Latta, she is a punk. UNC choked the game away to a better team. I didn't think UNC could beat UT on a neutral court and they didn't.
