Thanks. I did think of one possible problem. We needed fossil fuels to get to where we're at right now. It's really the best energy source. Sooner or later, we'll run out, and when we do, we'll need to use some alternate energy source (and discover how to effectively use it first). Well, what if people screw things up for themselves and end up in Stone Age II? That could happen in a number of ways:
1. Our current energy source lapses, and we don't stop procrastinating until it's too late.
2. There could be some really nasty war (maybe even nuclear) that blasts us back a few thousand years.
3. The stupid(er) elements take over. A 'dumbing down' effect, which is already happening. Ultimately, people would just lose the ability to keep it all going. This would be sort of like Beavis and Butthead World. LOL.
IF (the big 'if') we screw up AFTER our fossil fuels are gone, it might be close to impossible to get back to where we are now. So, if people straighten themselves out after a few hundred years and start re-organizing and rebuilding, they would reach a ceiling on their development, since all the fossil fuels were already used up. They might be able to use some other less efficient source of energy for a few hundred years until they get back to where we are now, but it's hard to say.

Ancient texts and accounts from Egypt, China, and other ancient locations talk about rebellious youth, alcohol related sloth, unfaithful partners, lazy co-workers, greedy moneychangers, prostitution, gambling, heroics, and unwarranted taxes. And of course, the constants of war, charity, pleasure, and exploration have also been noted for mankind's entire history. Just like today.
So I'd guess that this will be true at just about any point in humanity's history and future. Including 10007.

I'm too.
my model is Krishnamurti.do you know him?
however this problem don't make me fell sad. because i can't be alive at that time.it'll maybe affect to my descendant.:) however, i don't think the human can still exist in 10007. the human causes it themselves. the re son is not the damages of human to the nature or etc. because of human thoughts.they want to fight, scramble all time. for what? no reason.but they want all time.so they are in a circle.they don't know where they are, what they do for.it's their thought that extirpate themselves. so why don't we escape from that circle ourselves,to live a new life without fighting?good or bad life depends on our mind. let try to reduce complex things in your mind.it'll be better.don't think so much.
good luck.

The state of humanity on either date you provided is: GONE. It'll be nothing more than a sad memory of the alien passers by. Most likely that memory will be used as some big joke.... "Humans, the best bad example"!!!

Friend,
I doubt we'll last quite that long.
Or to 3007, even.
If we make it past next week, I'll be impressed.
If you love God, confess Jesus Christ as Lord if you haven't already. He loves you too. If you already have, praise God.
May God bless you.

Unless we find a new place to live, humans will be gone and we'll only live on spiritually, as Earth's resources will be completely used up long before then.

Why would you think it's even remotely possible to answer this question with anything other than a pure, shot-in-the-dark guess?
