I've never thought of it like that!! LOL

Seriously though, parking in a reserved space is obviously illegal and generally immoral... what if your grandmother needed to park there?? Someone needs that spot.

The bathroom falls in a gray area since most people don't spend a lot of time in public rest rooms. I prefer the handicapped stalls as they provide more room for me to get in and out and often are cleaner.. which I like to keep them that way when I do use them.

That's a good question.
I heard on the radio years ago about a judge who parked in a handicap spot illegally. Another judge in the same court system dismissed it because the officer "did not prove he denied a handicapped person a parking space".
Is that crooked or what?
So, getting back to the crapper question: If anyone questions your validity for using the stall, just say "Have I seen you in my courtroom before?"

Because... there is no one enforcing the Restrooms.

A regular person is not suppose to use the Handicapped toilets. It's a matter of mutual respect to save it open for those with special needs, so they don't have to maneuver around to look for one as it is much harder for them to use regular toilets because wheel chairs/ walkers don't fit into the average stalls. But it's not illegal... just use it when needed. I like to use it when I have extra shopping bags and it's roomier And when I was pregnant.

i own a shop and its like this because the parking space was designed for the Handy capped,so they would be closer to the store or what ever business they was going to,and for the rest rooms they was designed for every ones use,i know it doesn't make sense at times but that's the law as it stands, good luck i hope this helps.

because you need a permit if you have a wheelchair and need to be as close to the store as you can, but you are not yet required to get a permit if you have the runs or constipation and need a special toilet.
