You have to erase them from iTunes. You can't erase them from the iPod.

The only thing you have the capability of deleting on an iPod without computer support is the On-The-Go playlist, which can only be built on the iPod from songs that it already contains, and won't affect them in any way if it is deleted. Everything else has to be managed from your computer.

You can't. But if you have your iTunes set to automatically sync your iPod, then all you have to do is take delete them from your library, whether your iPod is connected or not, and the next time you connect your iPod, that's when they will be deleted.

you have to delete the songs in your iTunes to delete the songs in your iPod.theres no way to delete it directly from your iPod.
