If I knew a valid answer to that I would be out selling the concept to an auto company not playing here with Yahoo.

A vehicle could be a horse drawn wagon. The horse requires hay but not gasoline or propane as a motor powered vehicle would.

If you are talking about manufacturing a motor vehicle, you can't do that without fuel/electric powered machinery.

use an alternative source of fuel, you need something that reacts readily, is cheap and gives off a lot of energy or pressure. Hydrogen is a prospective solution. or you can just use and electric powered vehicle.

instead of relying on combustion of gas to generate energy.
