The problem with politicians is, they point fingers about global issues and say they could do better, but they never say WHAT they would do. Look at the democrats running for President last election and this one coming up. They threw rocks at Bush cause he messed it up, but none of them could put out a plan as to what they would do. They just say they have a plan and it would work.

I think all of them need to be asked a couple of questions and be made to answer it, either in writing or on TV.

1. You have these programs you want to start to help people. WHO is going to pay for these programs??

2. What would you do to end the war in Iraq, and what would you do to fight terrorism?

3. How will you reform income tax laws so that people are not paying more and more of their income to a government who spends more than they take in?

When you want to buy something, you look in your check book, see if you have the money, or, if you can afford a car note, and then, get it. Congress spends billions on needless pork barrel projects and that costs us, the working tax payer, Money!!!

I'm worried more about our countries own best interests, then global issues.

If you mean environmental issues, what good does it do for us if we let our economy and people suffer for the environment; while all the other nations continue to exploit and have thriving economies? It will do nothing but weaken us. Taking care of the environment is good, but we have to take of the nation first, because if the US every got defeated or fell, I doubt the defeating nation will give a hoot about environmental care.

That's how it should be. However, the boobs are more interested in how handsome they are, what church they belong to, their unusual name, who they are married to.....All the stuff that has nothing at all to do with being President and a persons credentials and ability.

That's how Bush got to be President....the boobs voted him in.

No. I'm so sick of having our "government" be so involved in global affairs and ignore our local affairs.
