why did you even bother answering the phone? don't you have caller ID????? if not, you may need to get a phone with caller ID.....

You can be angry - if it is a habit of your boss - but a one time event- no - especially with you are a salaried employee and your job description or position does not have defined work hours. Emergencies happen and it might be that your boss thinks that you are dependable - a good sign for career growth - the thing ensure that your boss understand that you are a team player but not for just any crisis or last minute item

You were completely wrong to be pissed. He's your boss--without him you would be unable to support yourself and your family. When you are working for somebody, you need to follow their rules...if you don't like it, quit and become an entrepreneur. However, since you have obviously not taken any risks, there really isn't any time for you to complain, obviously you're a loser who only complains instead of being a winner and making goals.

well in all honestly it depends on the situation of why he called you if it was just to talk well yea i would be too if it were a permotion id be happy and if it were bad of corse id be ticked but also if i were late for work id be thankful he called to remind me i had work it could go many ways need more info to answer this one

No, but it just isn't doing your blood pressure any good to get all pissed, so just relax and take it in stride, and next time don't answer the phone, just get caller id......

no i would be pissed but i pay for caller ID for just that reason i just don't answer and say i did not get your message till midnight sry
