Witchcraft(Black Magic) will attract to you a very bad Karma the next life. Witchcraft is earnest punished than suicide. It is against the Holy Spirit.

Magic(that can be White or Black, depending on what purpose you have, what instruments you use and how you make the prayer) is the manipulation of energies in nature.

Black Magic: Voodoo, Witchcraft, curses, Sorcery,....
White Magic: Shamanism, Teurgy, ...

White Magic uses: Normal cross, sanctified instruments, candle put in a normal position when lit, praying to Holy Spirit or Masters of Medicine, normal pentagram, etc.

Black Magic uses: all of the above but INVERTED.

Inverted Pentagram:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2b/Inverted_Pentagram_circumscribed.svg/2000px-Inverted_Pentagram_circumscribed.svg.png

Inverted cross: http://i1.cpcache.com/product_zoom/264652497/inverted_cross_dog_tshirt.jpg?height=250&width=250&padToSquare=true

Inverted candle:

Do not try something even if someone tells you it's white magic what he wants to teach you, because he might use black magic and trick you, it's risky. I am in an esoteric school and gained some experience that is why I know now what is good or bad.

Witchcraft is not a true name. The Witch was added by Christians to what were called The Craft and The Lore. There was magick in both belief structures. There was also the disciplines of Herbalism, Dowsing, Healer, Bone setter, Potion maker, Midwife, Caller, and many more of which many are now accepted as scientific fact.

Both The Craft and Lore are amongst the oldest of practiced Religions and disciplines still active. The Magi were of the Craft and they greeted Jesus with elements and potions.

Quite regualrly organized religions that do not understand the crafts or take them as "Black Magic" while they themselves worship their miracles, try to destroy both The Craft and The Lore.

As both The Craft and The Lore are founded on Truth and the disciplines of helping others, the Christians always destroy many but never all or the belief structures.

OK, this is funny cause i have experienced this on my own. At first it will seem like nothing happens but i think it depends on the person after a person reads on into those books sometimes they really begin believing and strange things can happen. I have been a believer on many levels but i always fell back on it cause it got to much. I started seeing things scary things. When i first began i saw my animal spirit more than once. One of the other times i saw a dead girl hanging in my old apartment in the living room. and when i would close my eyes to make her go away i would see a bald guy head with no eyes. freaky, very much so. Not trying to scare you but ti depends where this belief goes and where you take it. but you won't see powers shooting out of your fingers or anything like that. So i believe it depends on the believer. And it also depends on the person if they use it for good or evil. As the girl below me says, if you believe in nature, that's a better thing. I love nature myself and i hate what people are doing to it. I have read in Celtic magic and it's all about the nature of things and I'm so into it. It's alot harmless then some. so i hope this answers your question to the best of my ability. :) good luck!~!!!

Yes, it is very real, there are witches around. I am one.
I am Pecti-Witan (aka Hedge Witch, not Wiccan) a "solitary" practitioner of "the Old Religion", and have been for many, many years. Being a "Witch" is nothing like what is portrayed in movies or on Television. There is nothing flashy about it. we are fairly simple people with "abilities" that everyone has, ours are just honed and utilized. Lots of research and practice. There is a lot to learn when you are dealing with herbal, mineral and candle magick.
I read tarot cards, rune stones and utilize a number of other tools for divination but would NEVER charge anyone for anything I do! Besides, I do not do "readings" or "cast spells" for others on demand. That sounds more like a con game to me!
We don't recognize the existance of demons or the devil, so how could we worship something that isn't? Evil exists, that is a given, but it is of MAN not of nature. Doing anything even remotely evil goes against our principles. We do our best for humanity and the environment. If we were being influenced or led by the devil, why would he teach us how to use healing herbs and why would he want us to advocate saving the earth? Why would he want us to use our very being to help others? Doesn't that sound more like of "God" than of "Satan"? Can we be so mislead that we spend our entire lives doing good things for people & nature and helping in any way that we can that we are actually doing the work of the "devil"?!? Get real.

I am Wiccan. Witchcraft is a religion and it is very real. Whether you believe IN it or not is another question, but it is real and people DO do it.

Witchcraft has historical, anthropological, religious and mythological contexts and as such is very real. It is as real as any religion, medicinal practice, or spirituality. If you are questioning whther the magicl practice associated with witchcraft is real or not, that depends on whether or not you believe as magick is faith driven.
