Analysis of years of gathered data is still premature. The cooling effect may only be a local anomaly, covering a wide area of the middle east. We have to be careful extrapolating from a local phenomenon to a world wide event.
Environmentalists are largely concerned with retaining their status as "Global Warmists" and would lose much in the eyes of the public were this report to make the mainstream media. I read about it on the wires in the April 1 release on Christ-Net Today News.

This is a specious and false argument used by global warming deniers. Essentially no credible scientist ever proposed that this was inevitable--this argument is a myth propped up by people whose only qualification is that someone has given them a microphone and a few hours of radio airtime.
If you want to argue that the overwhelming majority of scientists, as well as people like Bush, Giuliani, Brownback, McCain, and Gore are all wrong when they say global warming is real and that human activity is the major cause, then do so. Don't hide behind some ridiculous promotion that only a few scientists believed almost forty years ago.

global cooling was the 70's hoax to scare us all to the left . Now its Warming, apperantly we are all supposed to die a firey death or drown from ice caps melting because we used spray deodorant and drive carsand use too many plastic bags, and dont eat dolphin safe tuna
