blue gourami can't be pregnant.
the male onne grows a buble nest. and then they kinda fold around each other for an hour or so and the female releases her eggs. the male catches them and puts them on his buble nest. they do this many times. after, the mother may eat them, but don't worry, the father protects them. after they hatch, they need a not deep shallow place for real air. since the also breathe air of ours. be careful after they hatch, bothe the female and male eats them. give then many hiding places.

All gourami are egg layers and blue gourami are bubble nest builders, just like bettas. They don't get pregnant, but the female can be full of eggs. Here's a link with info abut blue gourami and a link from there to breeding information.

all i know is that they lay eggs in bubble nests
