If they used to close by themselves they started with self-closing hinges (spring loaded ones that complete the closing action when the door is given a push). Those hinges might need replacement (spring mechanism is worn out).
If they never were self-closing you can buy the same hinges as self-closers and replace the yourself for a few bucks a pair.

If you want this to look like an amateur repair, go ahead and use velcro and magnets. If you want to do this correctly, the hinge is the likely culprit.
If it isn't a self-closing hinge, the hinge itself may just need to be readjusted. Check to see if the screws have come loose, allowing the fastener plates on the hinge to move a little bit. If that's the case, you'll just need to tighten them.
A lot of cabinets are built out of particle board, and unlike real wood, there just isn't any "bite" in it. If you have that kind of cabinet, you may just need to take the hinge out, fill the holes with wood putty, wait for it to cure, and then hang it again. If you have hinges that can't be seen when the door is closed, just move the hinge up/down a half-inch or so. I hope that helps.

The most inexpensive thing would be to get some child safety latches from the baby department from Wal- mart or the Home Depot. They will take some getting used to because you have to depress the latch to open the door, but replacing cabinet doors is expensive. Good Luck.

your cabinets are no longer "plumb" to the wall! you can try removing the kick boards at the bottom and tapping in some shims to raise the front,, use a level to see if you make any improvements!!
