Depends on your personality. Some things also good in decorating your office would be things related to your job. I like to see an office that has a person personality involved. Alot of people also like doctors, put up credentials, accomplishments, certificates. I also think what appeals to your clients that will enter your office would be good to, especially if your in sales.

Check out other offices of your peers. That would help out.
If you have any body who likes to mess with your things, warn that person. Next time, tell you new boss. Probably, that person could be assigned to less desirable work. As a punishment. After all higher position means more responsibility and you don't want to lose that position.
