Convert them to the iPod format first and foremost, otherwise it won't add em to the library. If you dont know how to do that try jodix.com, they have an awesome free video converter to iPod vid format. Then, import them to your library and add em to ur iPod like u would with music.

confident you could purely dont sync the ipod. in case you maintain it manually controlled then no longer something gets extra or deleted till you specify it to. in case you sync it each little thing that isnt in the itunes library you sync to would be deleted off the ipod. whilst it quite is in manually handle music or you purely say no to syncing all you do is drag and drop songs and movies and playlists from the itunes library to the ipods call. suited click and delete what you dont want from the main playlists below the ipods call. whether it quite is in instruction manual mode you need to use that ipod on any workstation you like with any itunes libraries you like and not something would be deleted till your suited click and delete.

Simply import them into iTunes. Then you can copy to your iPod as normal.
