The April fools joke refers to a Hawaiian incident in 1946. This is real. It is a 7.6 quake around the Solomon Islands just to the east of New Guinea. It has caused tremendous damage on those islands. Take warnings seriously. Watch local TV or listen to local radio stations if you are in the area.
