-3x+4=2(x+2)

Math equations are done in the order of precedence according to PEMDAS.

2*x= 2x
2*+2=4

-3x+4=2x+4
-3x-4=2x-4
-3x=2x+0
-3x-2x=-1x
x=-1

I think this is it but you may want a second opinion. A good way to check if it makes sense is to insert the solved x=-1 into the equation and see if it makes sense. I have checked it and my anwser makes sense.

so it wil be -3x+4=2x + 2
add 3x to both sides
4=5x + 2
subtract 2 frm both sides
5x = 2
x = 2/5
