As far as I know the only book he has written is his autobiography which he co-wrote with Kent and Keith Zimmerman (or they ghosted...). It's supposed to be good. Is that what you were thinking of?
You should watch Sid and Nancy, the Alex Cox film, it's really good (although the 'fantasy' ending is a bit silly).

i havent read anything but i love the guy the sex pistols are the most experimental band of all time and all the rest of them deep down would love to have been a sex pistol they done it all and done it better than anyone else wot a fuckin band hey i heard the sex pistols are rehearsing for a world tour wouldnt that be amazing
