Nothing seems to fill me...I don't want to gain anymore weight.. In fact I have 10 more lbs to lose. Did any other moms have this problem, if so what did you do/eat to satisfy you?

I was always hungrier when breastfeeding, then while pregnant. I know it is annoying when you are trying to lose that baby weight. But just remember your son is suckin' a whole lot of those calories & fat out of you too. Just try to stay away from the sugars & get extra exercise. I know it's hard. One thing I liked to munch on was beef jerky and also nuts - cashews & almonds. They are filling & high protein. You are doing the best thing for your son, even if you do have to sacrifice a nice bod for a while. :)

I have trouble losing the last 10 (OK, twenty) pounds while I'm still breastfeeding. As soon as my first stopped, I immediately lost a bunch of weight. I'm still nursing the second baby (16 months) and the weight doesn't seem to budge. I'm hungry all the time. I eat a lot of fiber (I love broccoli, prunes, Wasa crackers, apples). It helps, but I'm always hungry and thirsty, even after 16 months! My sister-in-law is the opposite. Her baby weight has melted off all three times within months of birth. Oh well. An extra year of being chubby is the least we can do for our children! Congratulations, and don't sweat those last few pounds.

im nursing my 2 month old daughter and went through the same thing. i too am on the last 10 lbs which is proving to be the most difficult to lose. like everyone said, you are burning cals while breastfeeding and your body is demanding energy. try eating something low cal but has a lot to it to satisfy. cut sweets out of the diet cuz the more you eat of that the more you will want. try munching things like celery and grapes or 100 cal bag of popcorn. start with drinking a whole glass of water. sometimes when you think your hungry your body really needs liquid.

Women need an extra 300-500 calories a day while breastfeeding. Try eating more fruits and veggies. When the weather starts getting nicer put your son in the stroller and go for long walks.

Oh my gosh! I just posted this same question like one week ago. I am starving too ~ breastfeeding my 2 1/2 month old. I asked the Doc. and she said to make sure to eat LOTS of fruit and whole grains, also drink lots of fluids like water, milk and juices. I still am finding myself NEVER satisfied, so I think it just goes with the territory. I am just starting to walk outside (it's getting nice out where I live) so I am hoping that will help with the weight. Good Luck ~ Congrats:)

of course you are hungry your running on low energy from lack of sleep you need the fuel to keep going plus breastfeeding burns hundreds of calories, that is also the reason why they say that moms who breastfeed tend to lose weight faster, all you got to do is watch what you eat eat fruit and veggies proper portions of meat chicken the best Or turkey, avoid fatty meat like sausages ect, also eat whole wheat and watch your sugar in take, i lost all my pregnancy weight and a little more, don't worried you will be fine if it worries you that much go for walks everyday, jogs, join a gym or do fitness videos at home well baby is sleeping. hope this is of some help to you

I was like you eating and hungry all the time!! lol!! but I heard mom with breast feeding need extra 700calories, so don't worry. now my son is 7mths eating solid food twice a day, I give less milk, eat less. (except chocolate, my enrgy boost!! hey, mothering is tiring you know!) you will be back to shape no problem when you start chasing baby crowling!!!
