Sounds good, but I'd add a little more memory..I run 4 Gb but my system only recognizes 2gb...2 gb is a good, keeps programs from boggin down.

If you want to run Vista, you definetly want at least 1 GB of RAM. Your motherboard doesn't need to be maxed out; I think that one with the capacity for about 4GB and DDR2 533 as the RAM standard should be acceptable. If necessary, later you could upgrade the RAM.

Do some research in accordance with your desired functionality and intended operating system.

Your bottleneck is the RAM. Add one more stick so that you can run faster on dual channel mode.

Go with a SATAll NCQ w/ 8Mb or higher cache.

If you will play current games, get at least the 7300GT ddr3.

And don't forget to invest in a good PSU.

Check your motherboard specs on the net and check on what type and how much your motherboard can handle and max it out. Other then that your computer sounds great. But you have a Ferrari with a volkswagon engine. If it's a SLI system you may want to double up on your video card also.

This configuration sounds good.

Before giving advice on whether or not a system is ideal, one needs to know what use is intended. Do you plan to just use your computer for wordprocessing? If so, this configuration is more than enough. If you plan on using it for serious gaming, it will not do. You would need to consider more memory, higher processor speed, larger monitor, etc.

I would go for more memory (RAM) and bring your hard drive up. I am running 1 GB of memory and I would like to bring this up to 2 GB soon. Your hard drive might be big enough, depends on what you plan on putting on your computer. If you plan on downloading movies you will want more.
