It annoys me too, it just shows that even though they think they are rebelling and being cool, they are actually just giving into what they are rebelling against which is most likely clicks. They can't fit in with the "popular" kids, so they have to be stupid and dress like an idiot for attention. It irritates me too, because when they grow up they will look back and remember how stupid they were.
But as for the jeanshirt. that was original.

People who label themselves are not annoying. Its the lazy people who label people that are annoying. We live in a very label friendly world unfortunately. People must peel back the cover and read whats behind the label/cover so to speak. The only people i feel that you can bypass the cover and the labels are the real nasty ones who hurt with words or physical aggression.

It bothers me when a person identifies with part of what defines a group and then suddenly takes on all of the aspects of that group. It's just not being yourself. Although it is nice to belong, there is something to be said for individuality.

Yes, they do - it's like they are trying to create a personality through superficial things; just be yourself and stop being pretentious. People who label others annoy me more though.

Their just trying to find a group that they fit in with. I don't see anything wrong with that. Some people feel they need to 'belong', in order to be understood.

LOL-- I like your name for yourself.
I think its just their way of "belonging" even when they say they don't want to belong.
Hey, I didn't see you today at High Noon in Virginia City!! I was armed and ready!
