I'm not sure how it could possibly _not_ work. It's a hat. It has a pocket for your iPod on the back. Aside from the possibility that it might get blown off your head (or worse, snatched by a thief) with a valuable piece of electronic equipment, there's not many ways that it could fail in its job. The somewhat obvious drawback to this is that you wouldn't be able to see the screen of a Nano (this wouldn't matter with the Shuffle, naturally) so you'd have to pop your earphones off and remove the hat to do anything more complicated than skipping tracks and adjusting the volume. If having wires dangling from your head is such a huge bother, but you'd prefer to have more direct control over your iPod (or you own a model that's not compatible with the hats), you could always buy a set of bluetooth headphones. They have a transmitter that plugs into your iPod, and a set of rechargable headphones with no wires at all, beyond the ones that go through the strap (one earpiece contains the receiver, and the other gets the battery).
