you are entitled to have your own opinion, just because your friend disagrees with it doesn't mean it is wrong, people have different viewpoints and aren't always going to see things the same way all the time, you friend needs to understand that and not hold it against you and make you feel bad for stating how you feel even though she may not agree with it.....

No it's not wrong to have an opinion especially if you're in the conversation. I'm confused too........
Is this the way they react all the time to what you have to say?
Most people will get offended when you hit close to the truth.
For example; I answered one question here on "answers" and the girl got really really ignorant regarding what I said. So she answered a question I had asked with a stupid "you don't know anything" remark. See what I mean, SHE asked for peoples opinions, but she got offended. Personally, she shouldn't have asked the question if she didn't want to hear the answers. She only wanted to hear answers that "agreed with what she was doing" or "made her feel like she was right" about what she was doing and when I didn't agree, she got childish. She IM'd me and what she had said on the IM didn't even come close to the question she had asked, so she is really a confused person.
Personally I would sit down with my friend one on one and get to the heart of the situation. It never hurts to ask, as long as you can handle the answers! Good luck!

Hi, well I speak my opinion where ever I am and who ever it is and if they don't want to hear it so be it, but they will hear me just like I heard them. Everyone is different and we all think differently and that is fine there is nothing wrong with having a different opinion than others.
With your friends if I were you I would just say what you have to say and make sure they hear you, I'm not saying to yell but don't let them cut you off and if they were to say whatever!!!!!! when I was finished talking I would say what do you mean whatever! and just keep stressing your point and look them right in the eyes as your speaking and soon enough they will realize that you have great points and great opinions.
Get your point across and don't let people walk all over you or take you for granted because your opinion is very important and should be heard.
Good luck.

No, it is not wrong to have an opinion. What might be causing the negative response is your choice of words or your voice expression.
There are all kinds of ways to say something and by using different words and different tones you express certain meanings. Think about what you say and how you say it the next time and see what the response is.
Also, I think anyone who throws back "whatever" is juvenile and doesn't have a good grasp of the topic in order to make a rebuttal.

It's fine and normal to have an opinion. However, the way you state your opinion may come across as being argumentative or rude. Opinions, when they differ from someone else's opinion, can be stated in a polite way that will be better accepted.

Its called being opinionated, and some people just can not handle being wrong..or disagreed with... I would say ust state your opion if they like it or not, only because you have the right to be heard....or you can be honest and ask her why she is the way she is and why she always dis agrees with you one way or another

Some people take it as a personal attack if you disagree with them. Like an answer about me said, new friend if this goes on all the time.

Sometimes it's easier to find points of agreement then arguing. On the other hand, if you happen to be around someone who liks to vocalize alot of opinions it never hurts to let them know that even people they respect disagree with them on some things.

You are not wrong for stating your opinion. If they do not want to hear what you have to say about a subject, they should not bring up around you.
