I think it's nice to have a theme when naming children and why not the Bible? It is a great book with terrific names

I don't find the names ugly (my son is named Joseph, but not for the bible, the name is after my late cousin), but I feel that the mother is going to be too hard on her kids to follow in her religious footsteps. The first 4 are fine, although weird, but Heaven is a little too far. Expect some teasing along the way when these kids go to school.

So? Maybe she is very religous! Do you have a problem with bible names?
My son is named Malachi (no, not from children of the corn*). When people say that about his name it sounds so ignorant. I wouldn't name my son after some stupid horror flick!
Most bible names have quality meanings, maybe you should think about that before you go naming a future child something strange and unmeaningful!
Most everyone here is saying the name Heaven is strange, so why isn't anyone saying that about Nevaeh? It's heaven spelled backwards but everyone seems 2 love it... I don't get it

I am not sure if you are religious or not, but in Catholic Tradition children were given baptism or confirmation names from either a saint or the Bible. Both or FINE. I am planning on all of my children having biblical names. If you think about it a lot of common names can be found in the Bible. John, Jacob, Peter, Simon, Elijah, Jonah, James and many more.

Adam, Joseph, Mary, Eve all go together, yet it's the name Heaven that's throwing me for a loop. Let me say it this way:
Adam Joseph and Mary Eve Heaven. Nah it doesn't work; the idea is good, but it doesn't work for me.

I like Bible names & I see nothing wrong with all Bible names but theses are a little on the corny side (sorry)
Its "cute" (but corny) but individually... Mary is too common and Heaven is just weirdish. Adam, Joseph and Eve are nice names but yeah ... just too corny

Well, some of the names are o.k. I like Adam and Joseph, Mary is a really popular name, but it is ..a little..different to name your kid heaven!
When my friend worked in the hospital, one couple almost named their kid Placenta...before they found out what it meant!
There's no accounting for people's tastes!
