I would like to see specific dresses

For her bat mitzvah, my daughter and I wore matching cream-colored dresses in polished cotton by Chadwick's with a collar of lace around the top of a boatneck. They were lovely and semi-formal, and the light ecru fit our theme of purity. I tried to find a picture of it in the online catalog, but it's been 7 months now, and probably won't be up for at least a while.

Here's another I just ordered: http://www.chadwicks.com/product.aspx?PfId=66641&DeptId=9701&producttypeid=1&PurchaseType=G (see the rose color, too).
I thought these were nice, too: http://www.chadwicks.com/Product.aspx?PfId=66683&DeptId=8217&ProductTypeId=1&PurchaseType=3&pos=2;
http://www.chadwicks.com/Product.aspx?PfId=37106&DeptId=8435&ProductTypeId=1&PurchaseType=3&pos=2 (in ivory); and
http://www.chadwicks.com/product.aspx?PfId=36400&DeptId=8409&producttypeid=1&PurchaseType=G.

I think these would make really sweet party dresses, especially as a guest. For other formals, you might check for simple lines, monochromatic color, and modest coverage in prom stores. Hint, though: you can do some very wise budgeting these days at the better second-hand (or "new-to-you") stores out there. They have some gorgeous formals at very affordable prices; that's where I picked up the perfect dress for my daughter's formal dinner/dance protocol coming up this month.

Good luck!
