1) Draw N with 5 N-electrons (x's) on four sides: x, x, x, and xx. Next draw four H's around the four sides. By each Nx draw H* (* is an H electron). By the xx, draw H only, without an *. Put a (+) sign by this NH4+ structure. Draw S with six S-electrons (x's) on four sides. On two sides put xx. On the other two sides put x. On one of the two sides of S with xx, draw O with 6 O-electrons (*'s) on the three sides except the xx side. On the other side of S with xx, leave that alone. On the two sides of S with x, put an O with *. On two other sides of these O's put **. On the far sides of those O's put *. Put (-2) by this SO3= structure.

2) Write Li+. Around three sides of B write three B electrons (x's). Around four sides of B, draw four H's. Write H electrons (*) next to the three x's. Between the fourth H and B draw **. Put a (-) sign next to this BH4- structure.
